I did my hour on the Elliptical this morning but am not feeling too well so I am going to take it easy for the rest of the day. So what is everybody else doing to move today??

People comment on my over 100 pound weight loss and attribute it to my WILLpower, but it is my WANTpower: I WANT to be thin and healthy more than anything else!

I walked around my block which is about 1/4 mile. That is great since I had a hip replacement a little over 3 weeks ago. I plan to do this 3 times a day to build my strength up. Plus I have PT excercises I do 3 times a day. I can't wait to work out like a normal person...I miss the ellipitical...lol.
5'9 and a size 6...I love my tool.

After a little more than a week off, I ran this morning, and I'm glad to be in business, so to speak.

3.1 miles, about 35-40 minutes.  I'll take it.

May hit the weight room over lunch, depending on a few time-related issues!

Cheers all!

I am taking the day off - I rode my bicycle for almost 30 minutes last night around the neighborhood - up and down (small) hills but a lot of pedaling and sweating - felt wonderful, but now my knees and legs are begging for a night off, so I must oblige them. I will be back at Curves tomorrow, walking the dog and biking.

I'm going out for a 'group run' here at work.  I joined a running club so this is the first time I'm heading outside at lunch versus doing the treadmill....wish me luck.  I hope *not* to be the limping gazelle at the back of the pack....

The limping Gazelle is what I look like after climbing off the Tony Little Gazelle I use.

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!

Good Luck Greg! I find running outside very hard...I sure hope it gets easier by doing it more.

I ran 2.0 miles outside today in 32 min. It was hot and hard but it's done.
