What about Knoebels? It is relatively cheap and family friendly!!! :0)

How about the Kutztown Festival - lots of fun stuff to do and see. You could take some of your own food and maybe just get a treat rather than spending money on full meals.

If you're looking for something to do on the cheaper side there is Valley Forge park that has tons of picnic areas and lots of cool cannons and trails and stuff - Brandywine Battlefield in Chadds Ford is also a pretty neat spot - both have big visitor centers with lots of info, and at Brandywine you can tour a house that Washington slept in - there's also the Brandywine art museum and all of these things aren't very costly. Of course if your kids are more theme-park minded today those places will probably bore the heck out of them, but the weather is beautiful and it would be nice to be outside. If you're in the Chadds Ford area there is also Longwood Gardens.

I love this area we live in - so many different places to see and do things - get to the beach, the mountains, the big city or the countryside - cool, huh!!
