weight loss simulator / virtual model
Well, I found something cool, thanks to someone's recommendation to go to the lands end site in my quest for a swimsuit.
There was a link to "try this on" using My Virtual Model... basically, you input a bunch of things (height, weight, hair color and style, body shape, etc.) and get a 3-d avatar on which you can drag a bunch of outfits to see how they look. That's cool in and of itself... BUT, there's also a "Weight Loss Simulator" that lets you input your starting weight and goal weight and see a side-by-side comparison. Great for positive visualizations!
Of course, it's only a generalization (you can't put in your specific measurements to see them, unfortunately) but you can get a good idea.
