Well, after just about 2 months post-op, I got my first fill today. 6 cc's were put into my band and I can feel some restriction. Have not tried to eat anything big, but I can tell their is a difference. Will see how it goes after the first few days and let ya all know.
Getting a fill was no big deal at all. Lay on the table, right arm up in the air, suck in the tummy muscle, good old shot of lidocaine, and in goes the needle. Had me sit up and drink some water and it went down fine.
Well, the adventure has started a new chapter today!

Congradulations!!! You are on your way to a new you, just be very careful with the things you eat over the next few days, don't forget to chew very well and put smaller pieces of food in your mouth to make sure you chew it enough. and eat slow, you DO NOT want to get anything stuck!!!! The fommies are not fun! let me know how things go. Have a great day!

Thanks for the help mom!! I am really chewing and have been working on it for some time. I really felt what it was like to be tight in the morning this am. Made some Egg Beaters and that first swollow was a little tough. It eased up over time and everything went down OK.
