Thanks Melanie, I guess I only had dumping once and the rest were just vomiting.
Eating to fast or to much.

Good to know it;s not just me.  What a HUGE transition this is...a very positive, yet tough here in the beginning.

Thanks

Kate early on when I was constantly throwing up I would joke to myself that I was anorexic by design now (I know its not a laughing matter, just sayin')

In the end it will ALL have been worth it. I'm 10 months out and 100lbs down with 10 more to go til goal. I would gladly go through any of the early on uncomfortableness.

Keep up the good work.

I also puked alot in the beginning. It wasn't the amount of food I ate. I was strict with that. But I would eat WAY too fast. I threw up almost daily. It was SOOOO hard to eat at a slow pace. I was so used to shoveling food my whole life, learning to eat slow was the hardest thing for me.

Even now, and I am out of WLS many years, I find myself eating too fast and getting sick. It isn't often but it still happens once in awhile. It's just a habit that is hard to break.

Dumping is definately a whole other ball game. I actually don't puke when I dump..........just feel like I am dying for about an hour. NOT FUN!

I have always just rested a little after getting sick, and then would try to eat a little something later. I didn't have any specific antedote though.

Good luck and hope you get it figured out!

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!
