White Jeans WOW
One of my saddest side effects of being morbidly obese was the fact that my legs became these horrible, lumpy stumps that didn't really look great in anything, but dark pants hid some of the sins of my lumpy stumps. White pants?? NEVER. They showed EVERYTHING and defnitely not in a good way. And not that my legs are in any great shape now - skin is hanging everywhere on my thighs down to my knees, but the lumps are gone and I am finally getting some shape back into my calves - hopefully with plastics down the road I can have somewhat normal legs again.
Anyway, I have been wanting a pair of white jeans - I always loved wearing them when I was younger - just something about white jeans in the summer with a navy top (or any color) made me smile. So last night I went into Coldwater Creek (another FIRST for me since losing weight) and lo and behold they had white jeans - in a size 18 - AND THEY FIT AND LOOKED NICE!!! And because they're a heavier jean material they hold all the skin in nicely.
This was a fantastic wow moment for me because I never thought I'd wear white jeans again and I can't wait to wear this pair - trying to think of a special occasion to wear them on or to but will probably just end up wearing them into work.
