Strange Flavor

I don't know if it was me or not, I made up some S/F Cranberry Jello, the box said for a twist instead of cold water use cold seltzer.  So I did.

It had a chemical flavor almost like a bleach smell with a horseradish flavor without the kick.

Was it me?

eww! I think that seltzer has a very yucky taste so it might have been funky. I love lime and cranberry. Also I have used peach juice instead of water.

So you think it was the seltzer and not me, or is that the way Cranberry tastes or smells?
