***Fabulous Friday Roll Call***
Morning morning morning!
My day yesterday did not start off well. I was up and down due to some female issues...finally fell back to sleep...apparantly hadn't turned the alarm clock on...and woke up 55 minutes late. I am not one to "get up and go" per say. I like to have my cup of tea...lolly gag in the shower...and leave by 5:50 to stop at Dunkin for my iced coffee on hot days. Well, I woke up at freaking 5:43 today. EEEEEKKKKK. Still got the ol college days in me, though...cause I was out of the house at 5:56 with make up on (just foundation and blush), uniform defuzzed from the cats, and hair wet (thanks to a sink bird bath type of thing...lol) and styled! 13 minutes flat! Whoo hoo! No dunkin, though :(
HOWEVER...it turned around nicely...work was decent AND I got to go home 4 hours early when I thought for sure we were understaffed and I would have to stay the whole shift (this was my OT week and they try to send OT people home early which is what I was counting on for today to begin with) I was totally surprised and soooo happy to be sent home!
So...once I'm done here I'm taking a "real" shower...crawling into bed and sleeping for a few hours! I will be up by 11 or 12 most likely and then headed to an afternoon girls day with Shauna. We need our footsies, her nails, and our eyebrows to be all "purty" for Saturday! I can't wait to spend the day with her!!!
On the way home I need to stop at Walmart and such for a few items and then do one load of laundry as hubby has new dress shirts and at least one of them needs to be ready for Saturday as well!

Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.

I wish Norm and Mary the best of luck. From the little bit I know about each of them, I can tell that they are very much in love and will be very happy together!! One day I hope to meet them in person!
I am almost positive that Siehara will be out of the house Saturday night and I plan to come over to the hotel where Beth and Dennis and I guess others are staying so I can hang out after the wedding.
Today has me working til 3:30 til usual. gym at lunch, probably.
After work is an open book. If Siehara doesn't go anywhere today and the weather holds, I am thinking relaxing by the pool would be a great idea.. just don't know if Mother Nature will cooperate. If not, then, I don't really know what we'll do. We usually go to our friends' house on a Friday night and to the mall, but since Sarah just had the baby a week ago, there is a lot of family and friends in town and we will probably give them their family time.
They are doing the ritual naming of her tomorrow (Jewish tradition) and then I can finally start calling her by her given name. I am chanting the Haftorah (singing a story) during services tomorrow in her honor, as well. I guess I should look at that one more time before then to make sure I know it, especially since I was just asked last week and have only looked at it in it's entirety once.

Must have been the day for it! I forgot to set mine too so instead of getting up at 4:45 I was up at 5:30! STILL made it to work on time - damn we're good Pam! lol I was out the door at 5:40. No makeup - hair in a pony tail but I did get food in my bag for the day and I DID stop for coffee. I am hurting this morning - I had a headache yesterday afternoon that went migraine. I was in bed as soon as I got off the phone with Shauna (About 6:30) and laying awake with a throbbing head (After vicodin****il Chris got home at 10. A few tylenol PM and I passed out cold (a VERY strange thing for me) I still have the traces of the headache this morning and need sleep - maybe I'll leave work early if it looks like it is going to be a slow day.
After work I want to make some cookies and I have to make a broccoli salad and tortellini salad for the party tomorrow.
I am so going to miss everyone at the wedding tomorrow. Mary and Norm - LOVE YOU BOTH! You are perfect for eachother and can't wait to see the pics.

I guess I'm still on Barix time. I was up at 6:00am this morning. Slept ok. Woke up, got dressed and took a little walk. Figured I would get a walk in before it gets too hot. Unfortunately, I have a tiny apartment that doesn't really allow me to walk around it too much. I've been doing my stretching though.
I'm so surprised...my pain is very minimal. Just some incision area pain. I've been dosing with Tylenol Jr. meltaways, which Dr. P recommended and that seems to be working. I have lortab elixir as a back up.
Today I am going to try to get some protein in. My Mom is coming down this afternoon to hang out/help out with anything I need.

Hi all,
Today will take one of two senserios. We drive down to VA and spend the weekend with family or we drive both cars to CarMax ( the BEST place to buy a QUALITY used car) and drop off hubby's car. Anyway, either way, we are heading for VA.
