Hi Robin, Thanks for checking on me. Im doing ok on my protein diet of 2 weeks with 1 small low carb meal. My surgery is TUES< Aug 18TH. I went to my Doc to get weighed & they said I lost 4 lbs but gained 1lb of fat! Go figure. I dont know where the fat is coming from but they also said dont worry. Im concerned about the size of my live and it being fatty etc... so he can move it without problems.... Im going to do whattheysay and not worry about it. Im hungry ,my stomach growls but I will survive. Cant wait to eat mushies. Any advice for me for the upcoming future? I appreciate your input. How much have you lost and how far out are you? Thanks, Chele

I am a year and three months out. I have lost 120lbs to date I have 50 more to go. My success is due to choices I made before my surgery. I do not eat anything made from flour (flour of any kind!) I also do not eat any sugar. The only sugar I eat is natural (in fruit) I use splenda to sweeten my food. I do not eat cakes or junk like that. I decided a year ago that I was going to succeed and that ment a serious change! I will never eat those things again!!!  Life is so good now I feel great, I look great and I have no health problems.  Do yourself a huge favor decide today what is important to you this is not a diet it is a new lease on life and calls for life style changes! Good luck and keep me posted.

Robin
