Really bad side stich
I am having really bad pain on my left side, under where my pouch is. I am 7 weeks out today and the pain that i am feeling is worst then what I was feeling after surgery. I dont know why but when I have an attack it shots all the way up to my neck area. In my belly it feels like a "pop" and then burn sensation. Has anyone else ever had this type of pain??
I will not speculate, because I am several years out now. I would suggest you call your surgeon and ask about it. He/she may want you to come in and check you out. There are a myriad of reasons, and they range from minor things like gas, or scar tissue forming, to who knows what?
Hang in there.

7 weeks out definately sounds a bit weird to me and definately warrants a call out to the surgeon. It's certainly possible it is "only" the deep incision healing and the muscles finding their new "nitch"....but I would have that all of that would have been done by now.
Feel better, call the surgeon, and let us know what it is!
