How long did it take you..
I did it one day at at time wach day getting closer and closer to goal.
Don't worry, you're going to feel like getting in your requirements is all consuming, that is what the early part of this is like, the most important thing you can do is to make sure you get your fluids in and right now, since you are in the liquids stage, it all counts towards to fluid intake, just sip, sip and sip some more, don't leave the house without your water bottle and you will do fine. In the beginning and probably for the first 3 to 6 months, it seems like our lives revolve around getting in the right amounts of fluid and proteins, as well as our vitamins and supplements, so rest assured you are right where you should be right now!

My Mantra is that I do not determine my success by the number hanging in my closet, nor will I let the scale determine that success either. . . It is through trial and error I will continue to grow and succeed. . . Laureen

I had surgery 6/8 and it is still taking me two hours to drink a protein shake.
I saved all the little medicine cups and hubby bought some and it helps
to drink one of those every 10 minutes or so... That way, you aren't taking in to much at once
like I have way to many times...
I also took/take naps everyday! Back to work Monday.
It will seem like that or a while, and when you finally go on more solid foods get used to eating stuff cold because it takes so long to eat that your food will get cold, and its hare to reheat and eat because nuking dries things out. One consolation in all this is the it will not last forever and before you know it your eating will seem a lot more 'normal' even tho the portion sizes and types of foods you eat are very different from your old 'normal'.
