My card was issued by Barix.  It states that this person has undergone intestinal bypass surgery and should be given the option of ordering smaller portions from the kid's menu or half portions.

Some days your the dog and some days your the hydrant.

The senior menu is really the best option because in addition to serving smaller portions, they are typically healthier (lower fat, sodium, etc....) because many seniors also have health conditions.  I am not old enough (not yet) to order from the senior menu, but no one has ever denied me.  The kids menu is mostly high fat, sugar laden, sodium rich crap.  (can you tell I have an opinion on this/?!!?)

Additionally, if you are at a restaurant that doesn't have a senior menu - order ala carte (protein w/a side of veggies)  or an appetizer - it works!

And one more thing... always tell the waitress as she is taking your order that you don't want the bread - I don't wait until they bring it, it would be toooo tempting
