****Thursday Roll Call****
OK, all you teachers are depressing the heck out of me this morning with all your smiles and woo-hooing over school being out! I guess you deserve it after a school year full of kids but do you have to be so darn happy and bragging about it?? Yeah, I'm jealous - go ahead and brag.
I'm back at work this morning - took mom for her chemo treatment yesterday afternoon but the doctor wouldn't give it to her since she had just been so sick. She lost 5 lbs since being there last week which he was not happy about but her labs looked good - he just wants to wait until she has eaten more consistently so I'll take her in tomorrow morning for her treatment and my hubby can pick her up since he's home tomorrow.
Tonight hubby and I are heading to Costco after work for his big family party this Sunday, and then later tonight I'll be taking mom to get her hair done while I exchange a birthday present at Coldwater Creek.

im at work 8 to 12, then off to pick up my gf's 12 yr old. then home to pick up kids and hubby and head to the pool.
After the pool we are coming home to make pork chops on the grill with squash and sweet taters!!
I am watchin my gf's daughter until about 10pm, then its off to bed.
Hopefully we dont get too sunburned today!! The kids will be covered in SPF 80!!!

I agree with Kathy, I'm jealous of all you teachers!
I've been a very busy girl this morning. Already had my annual physical at my GPs office. Ending up walking out of there with three new prescriptions and a referral for an ultrasound on my kidneys and bladder. I've been getting a lot of bladder infections lately and he's referring me to a Urologist at Frankford Hospital that specializes in post menopausal women with bladder problems. Also got a prescription for Ambien because my sleep patterns just suck. He also referred me to an orthopedist at Rothman Institute to have someone look at my knees. Now that I've lost a lot of my weight it might be time to get my right knee replaced.
Good news is I weighed 203! I'm so close to Onederland I can taste it.
I'm a little stressed out today because I have to do a presentation via videoconference to my Las Vegas office. I hate speaking in front of a large group of people but I'm the manager and so I'm the one that has to do it. I'll be spending most of today preparing for it.
I won't be done with the presentation until around 7pm so it's going to be a long day for me.

I can't wait to read your post that you have reached ONEDERLAND and I know its coming soon!! That's awesome!! Sorry to hear about your health issues - hopefully they can get them cleared up and soon.
Good luck with the knee doctor - I have bi-lat knee replacements (2000 and 2001). These days they have special ones just for women and tiny little incisions - I look like the Bride of Frankenstein with all my scars, but again, another surgery that I don't regret because I had no life before getting them done - they were in such bad shape that I would go home at night and ice them down just so I could get up and go to the work the next day - it was misery. So good luck with that and keep us posted.

Fun day planned for me today, it is my oldest 9th birthday today...happy birthday Drew.
We were going to go to the pool but it is not so nice out today so we are headed to the movies to see Night at the Museum. After that, I have my three month check with Dr.P. I am curious as to how my labs will turn out.
Tonight we are going out to dinner...not sure where, Drew wants Friendlys.
Other than that, not too much planned, hubby is leaving tonight for a shark fishing trip...hope he catches some Mako...YUMMY!! and high in protein!!

It was so nice to sleep in. Hubby left for work and put charlie, our dog, in his crate.
No interuptions...ahhhhh. Well rested.
I have a few more days off work, it'll be tough but good to go back. I could never
stay home like this.
