Tuesday Excercise
Shilpa - do you ever give your body a rest? You really should - at least one day a week take off from the eliptical and maybe just walk? Your body needs time to recuperate and heal from all those workouts.
I'm not sure what I'm doing today since I'm home with my mom. Last night I did not make it to Curves because she was sick but I did 35 minutes and 9 miles on my recumbant bike, walked the dog, then took a long ride on my bicycle thru the development.
I would like to get to Curves tonight - maybe when hubby gets home from work. Already walked the dog today and getting ready to go outside and scrub the front porch and siding.

Kathy,
I know I need to give my body a rest but I have this fear that if I take a day off then it becomes 2 then 3 and so forth. Does that make sense?? I have taken days off and then could not motivate myself to get back into the groove of excercising. Summer being right around the corner I think I will start to walk/jog around the neighborhood instead of just hitting the Elliptical. Thank You Kathy for looking after me:)

I totally understand your fears - for the first time in my life I feel the 'need' to make sure I get some type of exercise in every day, even if its just a walk with the dog. I try not to let it get out of hand too because I know old habits die hard and in the past that would happen - I would go gangbusters on exercise then skip a couple of days, which became a couple of weeks, then months, etc. We all know how that goes and why we resorted to WLS, right?! LOL!!
You know your body's limits better than I do, but I just don't want anything to happen to you and I know you had some issues in the past with the eliptical. So just take care - we need you out here!
