****Monday Roll Call****

Good Morning all.........

Well I am at work.......Unfortunately. But oh well. I will skip out a few minutes early to get to my appointment this afternoon. I will be signing up for some classes. I am going back to school. I think I must be on crack for trying to do this but I am going to give it a try........LOL

Other than that, just some exercise, laundry and organizing some pic on my PC later tonight. Hope everyone had a great weekend. And hope today is great as well.

Good Morning everyone -

Today is my last day as the old me too !   Waiting for the call from Barix with my arrival time tomorrow.

Last night I had to take 10 teaspoons of Milk of Magnesia.  Thank goodness I took today off.  Without getting gross, lets just say - it's a good thing the bathroom is only a few feet away.....

My chores are just about done and really I just need to relax today.  I thought maybe I would do some last minute shopping, but I laid out all of my post-op stuff on the kitchen table and I have enough stuff to last me a while.

I'm going to ask my best friend, who is an OH member to drop a post here when I'm out of surgery.

I have a lot of ground to cover this week at work, and I'm defeinitely taking Friday off, but Thursday isn't looking so good.

On the plus side, the event planning is all smooth sailing at this point, just a few minor details to ttend to in the next few days. THAT'S a nice feeling!

I'm at work this morning - beautiful drive in with the sun shining! Where was that Saturday? It did finally come out yesterday and turn into a nice day but cool. Sure doesn't feel like June.

Its freezing in our offices again - don't know why they can't get this a/c figured out. Its June and I'm still wearing sweaters to work? Granted I know I get cold a lot faster now, but this is insane.

Good luck to the newbies! Barix is a great place. I really wish I could make the support group. Today is 2 weeks since my hip replacement. They did say I would feel much better after two weeks and they were right. I still have another 4 weeks before I can drive. My husband has been a blessing. it's hard when you have a 3 and 5 year old plus he is getting his MBA. Today I have PT. I love PT because it's someone to keep me company. I've been in this house since I came home from the hospital and i'm going nuts.

I keep meeting guys the wrong way, this morning I wa**** again in my new car.  This time the driver wasn't drunk.  He had a sneezing episode and lost control of his car.  What a way to start a Monday.  He took out the passenger side of my car including my tail light.  He on the other hand broke his axle I believe when he ran into the curb, destroyed his side view mirror and completely shredded his tire.  Boy what a sight.  Happily, no one was injured, just stunned.

WTH Nan.. Don't take this the wrong way, but I really don't want to get into a car with you.

Glad nobody is injured, but I think you are going to need to get a rubber car next.  That way, people will just bounce off you when they get close.  LOL!

He didn't do a lot of damage to me, but he sure did himself pretty good.  I'd say this car seems to be a very safe car considering the past couple of experiences, if I'd been in a different vehicle, I'd probably be in traction.

Good morning all. I took today off too - just not ready to face work just yet. Don't think that I am back to my best mentally. Not that I think that I will be tomorrow either - but well I have to go back.

Today has me just straightening up the house a bit and hopefully taking a short walk (I get dizzy and crampy when I walk too long) I might also sit in the sun for a while.
