What did you do to get all your protein in?
First--You are doing great!! Second --getting in all your protein takes time but you will get there...
I still have days when getting in the protein is a struggle but you just keep doing the best you can do. When I was at your stage I mixed alot of my unflavored protein powder in my yogurts and SF puddings..it helps a bit! Keep up the great work!

Are you on full or clear liquids? I had one hell of a time on clear liquids (Dr. P had me on clears strictly for the first week) It gets easier as time goes by.
There are clear drinks called isopure that has a lot of protein in it. I personally didn't like the taste of them, but did what I had to do. Along those lines are New Whey and Profect protein bullets. 3 ounces and one of them has 25gm of protein and one of them has 50gm of protein. Some love them...I hated them...but took them early out. I would drink 1/2 of the 50gm one at a time - and really - it was like three swigs and I was done. I viewed it as medicine.
It takes awhile to work it all up - but the main thing is you keep adding protein in and you keep trying! It does get easier.

I added syntrax peach nectar to diluted Adam & Eve Peach Mango Juice (from BJ's it has no added sugar)
I added non-flavored protein powder to apple sauce, soups, stews etc.
It will get easier.
Three years ago, I didn't know about the high protein available in 0% fat, plain greek yogurt. Mix that with powdered nsa jell-o pie filling. Oh boy, what a treat. I especially lke banana cream flavor. I mix a little over a tablespoon of powder with 5.5 oz. of yogurt. If its not sweet enough add a little splenda. Superfresh/Pathmark has oikos on sale 5/$5.
The Any Whey works best in cooler or room temp things... adding it into a soup is "iffy" at best (i couldn't take it, personally).
Try getting some PLAIN greek yogurt (oikos or fage are a couple of the best brands) and adding it to some chicken soup, veggie broth, etc. You can also make other types of soup, puree them well in your magic bullet, and then strain them through a wire strainer (especially with some added yogurt after pureeing and straining them - and letting them cool a little bit). Basically, anything you can get through a strainer is fair game in the early days!
Try mixing the orange creme nectar with skim milk and blend it with some ice cubes for an "orangesicle" shake. Same with the peach (and you can blend in some frozen fruit, as well).
It's very early out for you, so I wouldn't worry too much with making the goals yet... but just keep plugging away with the protein shakes, the soups, the jello, strained purees (use the recipes in your barix bible AND check out ideas at www.bariatriceating.com, where they have meal plans for full-liquid, pureed, and soft food stages). The more you can do, the better! And it will definitely get easier.
Best of luck!
