I tried the peanut butter/fudge pie recipe and it was fabulous! I am now waiting for my Orange creme pie that Liz posted to be done chilling.  My kids are loving the new desserts and I do not mind them having them because they are sugar free.  So does anyone have any more that are WLS friendly and would be yummy for kids too?

Thanks!

Can you give me the pb/fudge pie recipe? I didn't see the post and would love to try it. Nothing is better than pb and choc...lol.

Thanks,
Tracy

My DH is totally addicted to the orange pie.  He has no idea that it is sugar free.  He is a diabetic and thinks he is getting away with something big because I have not said anything about how much he has eaten.  As long as he's happy,  I'm happy.   LOL

8oz. (Neuf) Cream Cheese
1/2 cup DiabetiSweet white
1/4 cup creamy (legal) Peanut Butter of choice
2 cups thawed SF Cool Whip Whipped Topping
1 Oreo Pie Crust (or make your own w/Murphy's SF Oreo cookies and melted Smart Balance)
1/4 cup Smucker's SF Hot Fudge Ice Cream Topping

Beat cream cheese, sugar and PB in bowl w/mixer til blended.  Gently stir in Cool Whip til blended.  Spoon into crust.  Plop on blobs of Hot Fudge Topping and swirl w/knife for marbling effect.  Sprinkle with chopped up peanuts if desired.   Refrigerate for 4 hours or until firm.  Refrigerate leftovers immediately (if any).  Makes 8 servings.

This is soooo yummy!!!!

Courtesy of Liz.....one of my all time favs

Truffles

8 ounces cream cheese (reg or 1/3 fat or fat free...but NOT whipped cream cheese)
8 ounces sf chocolate chips (I find mine ONLY at Walmart these days....)

Beat cream cheese till light and fluffy
Melt chocolate chips
Beat melted chocolate and cream cheese till well blended.
Let chill at least 2 hours
Roll into little balls (this part gets a little messy)
Roll in toppings of your choice....chopped nuts...sf pudding powder...organic coconut...unsweetened cocoa powder (although I sweetened mine w splenda)...PB2...possibilities are endless

That's the one I remember just from memory...I'll have to look back at other recipies I have collected

Hi Leslie,

Happy Saturday..

Are these regular choc. chips that you are using?  What type of Choc. Chips does Walmart have?

Thanks.

Geoff,

No....I use sf chocolate chips.  Hershey makes them.  During the holidays I found them in almost all grocery stores...but now I can only find them in Super Walmart.  They are in a brown bag with a silver stripe on the bag.

I suppose you can use any sf chocolate bar as well...I think the brand name 50/50 makes one (I have seen them at Giant) or a dark chocolate bar from the baking isle
