Have a Date and Ready to Go!

This is amazing! After my insurance approval, Barix called to say that Dr. Pupkova wanted me to come in for a 2nd consultation, since it had been 18 months since my first appointment with her.
So today I took a half day from work and met with her. Long story short...we were able to schedule my surgery on the spot.

The date is...July 15.

I came away very excited, a little scared, and totally overwhelmed!

Congratulations!   I know the time seems both imminent and so far away, but you've started the "rollercoaster ride"!  Get out there and start walking and stretching now, and you'll feel even better when the 15th rolls around!

I've been exercising for the last month or so. I actually joined a health club...found one I truly enjoy, which I thought was impossible.

That's great!  I haven't ventured to a health club yet (been doing all my exercise at home and the track across the street from me), but i hope to find one that I really do enjoy before fall.  I'm so thankful that I started some exercise prior to surgery and it's been such a great thing AFTER surgery (and i'm a person who has always HATED exercise).  Really made my early recuperation so much easier.

Congratulations on getting your date!!!  It's totally normal to be excited, scared and overwhelmed all at once.  You are in very good hands with Dr. Pupkova and Barix -- you are going to do great!

CONGRATS!! THAT IS AMAZING!! The surgery date will come fast!

Yea!  Another July baby!  We will have lots to share with each other.
