A heavy Heart for Gary Papa

Its with a heavy heart that I report that Gary Papa passed away today from prostrate cancer at 54 years young. Someone said something which made sense "we are only renting" Gary was always an upbeat outgoing friendly person who always asked how you were doing how life was treating you and never made it about him. He was cute, funny friendly, outgoing and approachable so its with a heavy heart and head bowed to say this. It was also mentioned that he paid his respects to Harry Kalas being pushed in his wheelchair and touching Harry's casket . My deepest respects to his family, friends and colleges. Gary, heaven must have needed a good person and sportscaster. Thanks for the memories Gary.

oh that is so sad... we really liked him but it explains why we hadn't seen him on the news for a while... we don'****ch every day...

I watched all 3 news reports and cried the whole time.  He was such a fantastic person even when not working.  Everyone had such great stories to share about it.  Very sad to lose him So young! 

I was so surprised and upset.  I thought for sure he'd beat it with his positive attitude.  I'll miss hearing his voice.
