****FRIDAY FRIDAY FRIDAY Roll Call****

I must start this out with thoughts and prayers to Liz and Chris during their incredibly difficult day ahead of them.  Hugs to both of you my friends!

Once I leave work at 7am (which can't come soon enough I might add) I MUST find my way to a gas station close to work.  I neglected to leave early enough to stop last night and my car most likely will NOT make it home on the fumes I have left (and I have no desire to play the "how far can I get game" on 78 in the rain)

Once home, if it is not down pouring, I would like to clean out my car so perhaps people do not believe I LIVE out of my car.  I've been saying I was gonna do this for a week or two...but never did and stuff has just compiled.  Generally I am a pretty "neat" person....but some other person has been leaving their trash and overnight bags from jersey in my back seat.  The nerve!

I have some paperwork to fill out....then a nap...then up shower and dress as I have my first gyn annual apointment with my new doctor.  Oh fun.

Hubby is probably coming out with me and after my appointment I need to go to the mall and get a boulder holder (can I still call them that with how they look?) that works with the new dress I bought a few weeks ago.  We'll probably hang around the mall for a bit and do dinner and that's about it (I think) for the day!!!

Good morning Pam - I too want to send thoughts and strength to Liz and Chirs on this most difficult of days.  And Pam - I totally understand the nerve of someone leaving all that junk in your car - I have the same problem.  I van't even imagine how someone MUST get into my car after me and mess it all up - I mean really.....It is JUST NOT NICE!....Darned gremlins! :)

Today has me trying to get to two of my children's graduation ceremonies.  My son, graduating from middle school, is at 9:30 AM, then, my daughter's, graduating from elementary school, is at 10:30 - There are some days that I think the Superintendant of the School District of Philadelphia should REALLY talk to the parents in this disctrict and see what works for them.  She is an idiot!  And - becuase of her "intelligence", not only am I going to miss part of my son's graudation, I am COMPLETELY missing the graduation of all of MY OWN students, which is ALSO today - at 9 AM.  I am trying to let go and enjoy the day for what it is - but I am struggling with this!

This afternoon, I am HOPING that my in-laws don't want to spend too much time hanging around my house - I have a ton to do - cleaning and getting to the market for food for tonight.  I am having a houseful to celebrate the graduations.  (My own children, not my students,,,,just in case there was any confusion! :))

I am off to get the day started!  Hope the weather breaks soon and we get to see that yellow orb in the sky!

Hugs to Liz and Chris from Whitehall, too.  It's going to be tough, but it will get easier every day.  LOVE YOU!!!!

So, I woke up today and opened my blinds in my bedroom and I see this bright orangeish/yellowish thing in the sky.  I've heard of this phenomenon called sunlight before, and I think I've seen it, but I'm not sure.  Do you think it will last?

Probably not, since my facebook friend in OH showed a pic of the radar over her area and it was very colorful in a BAD way.  Lots of orangeish/yellowish in that picture, too.. that's probably coming this way.  UGH

Anyway, today is Siehara's last day of school.  She has a 1/2 day.  The choir did beautifully at graduation last night.  I took pics and a video of Siehara singing her solo.  I'm going to try to post them on facebook at some point today.   When she gets home, I'm hoping to get her to clean up her room, but am not holding my breath.  If the weather holds up, I am going to take her and go for a walk in the neighborhood on my lunch break.

After work, we are going to see our friends. Then, there is a starry (hopefully) service at the synagogue.  It is supposed to be outside, but if it rains, we'll move it inside.

I hope everyone has a great FRIDAY and hope that this SUNSHINE stuff lasts for awhile!!!

Liz and Chris are my thoughts as well today. They are strong and wonderful and will be alright. It is just hard for excitment to change to dissapointment and sorrow so quickly, Hugs to them both.
Today I am going to work, then doing some shopping afterward with Jason. Have to get him some dressier clothes LOL. I am hoping maybe we can either see a movie or go to prince st cafe to hear some live music. That is about it.
TGIF anyway it has been a rough week

Good Morning.........

Lots of Love & Hugs for Liz this morning. May angels watch over you and God give you stregnth to get through this.

As for my day, I am working most of the day. I am not staying the whole day. I plan on running like hell from the office as soon as I can get the last patient out the door this afternoon.

Then home to pack up the last minute things for our little weekend away. We are staying at a nice little cozy cabin at a campground. For the record, we are not camping. These cabins have EVERYTHING! Woo Hoo! LOL It will be a weekend of hanging out and celebrating with Johnyy's family as we celebrate his brother's 50th Birthday tomorrow with a big paty at the campground. It should be lots of fun.

Hope everyone enjoys thier weekend!

Good Morning PA -
Add my thoughts and prayers to Liz and her husband as well.  Today will be tough for them.

Today has me at work wrapping up things before I'm out for surgery.  I've finished all the major stuff, so now it's just some paperwork and loose ends to tie up.

Tonight is home to relax and do some laundry.  Not exciting, but I really need to calm down before surgery.  I've been a little antsy the last few days.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Lisa

Liz and Chris, please know that you're in my thoughts and prayers as well - support from family, friends and the big man up above will give you strength to get through this.

OK girls, get those cars cleaned out! Maybe keep one coffee cup just in case you run into the same trouble Heather did on her trip - good to have one 'storage' container on board. Wouldn't work for me - I'm definitely potty-trained and would never hit the cup!

Yes the sun is shining - its Friday - today is FREE pizza and ice cream day here at work - gee, could there be any worse food for me?? Well, I'll indulge a little - the bldg mgmt always has an ice cream social once a year and they actually are offering a sugar free flavor this year, so that's nice. Wearing my new Victorino Phillies jersey today trying to give the guys some good karma to get out of this slump they seem to be in.

Tonight treating mom to a pedicure for her birthday while I get my nails done and other than work not much else going on today.
