Update on Denise (QueenDee)
Hi All - I was over on the Barix message boards and the following update was left by one of the gals over there last night:
"I went to see Dee when I arrived at Barix at about 5:30 and was told she just went into surgery. A group of us dropped in around 9:00 PM after the support group meeting and to our surprise she was awake and in good spirits (got to love that pain pump). So Dee is now officially on the loser's bench and seems to be doing quite well."

I stopped in this afternoon to see Denise - she's doing really well and looks awesome! Also got to meet her husband, Sean, and sister, Melissa (? -sorry if i mangled the name!) as well as Melissa's beautiful little baby daughter.
She's missing having an internet connection and is looking very much forward to being HOME (although not looking forward to the 3-1/2 hour ride to get there). She said to tell everyone HI!
