stomach staples

First I want to say hi again. It's been forever again since I've posted. Life is still very busy, still working two jobs, still helping with Addison, who is 17 months old already!!!
I went to the doctor today because I felt like something was wrong. I've been writing in my food journal again for the last two months, been watching everything I eat, counting calories, fat intake, protein intake, carbs.. you know the drill... EVERYTHING.
Well, in the last two months, I've gained twenty pounds. Now, I also want you to know, I've been excersizing, doing the on demand work outs every morning. Still cant afford the gym, so I brought the gym to my living room.
Anyhow.. after a long discussion, she is referring me to Dr. Roberts at Hershey. She seems to think the staples may have come out or something to that effect.
Has anyone ever had this experience? If so, how did this happen? What did they do to correct it? Is it correctable?
I hope everyone is doing well.

Do you mean Dr Rogers? She was my surgeon. I have never heard of Dr. Roberts. Did she suggest an UGI? I have heard of a fistula where the pouch makes a new route to the old stomach and they have to go in and snip it.

I thought she said Roberts, but I could be wrong. They are supposed to call me sometime today or tomorrow with my appointment. My PCP didn't want to order any type of tests until I saw someone who specializes in this type of thing. Unfortunately, with my insurance, I had to go to my PCP before seeing a gastric bypass surgeon. Fortunately, my PCP is with Hershey (internal medicine) so, it should make things easier with getting an appointment.
I'll keep you posted.
