Finally did it!

Well, I have been paying for this gym membership since 2000, but haven't been there since 2002!   Many reasons I didn't go (I could always find a reason), but mainly I was intimidated and didn't think I would be able to do even a few minutes on the treadmill.

 SO today I finally did it- I went to the gym!   I went with a friend and it went very well!
I walked on the treadmill for 30 minutes!   Granted, I walked a slow pace (2.8-3.4), but I did it!

Good for you!! It doesn't matter what your pace is. Everyone has to start somewhere.  I am short, so 3.4 is actually a medium pace for me.

congrats... do the treadmills there have an incline?  Because you have keep the slower speed and walk on an incline... it is a great workout but don't over do it or you will get jelly legs and look funny trying to get off it... trust me... I've done it lol...

Congrats!!!  I know all about paying for the gym and not going.  I used to feel like my gym was my favorite charity!  Now I make it a game to see how cheap I can make my per-visit cost -- like if I go 20 times this month, then my per-visit cost is around $3.  It makes me feel like I'm getting away with something, and hey, whatever works!

Congrats again!  Soon you'll be kicking that treadmill's a$$!

FABULOUS!!  Now - KEEP going!!  You need to get into a routine of it and soon enough you will miss it when you don't go!!!  GREAT job!!!!
