Biotin will cause all your hair to grow... EVERYWHERE... I'm already hair enough from PCOS... so I skipped it lol...

Thanks for the advice about the drano!! LOL!  That was pretty funny!

Luckily there is a hair drain thingy in the tub already... guess the complex got tired of having to rip out pipes.  I think I'll just stick to the Nioxin and see if that helps.  I hate shaving as it is and don't want to have to do it more due to this. 

Lisa... I learned after researching the Nioxin a little bit that there are 7 or 8 different "Systems" depending on the type of hair you have and the type of thinning you're experiencing, like I'm a "4".  If you want to continue the Nioxin after you finish up with Liz sent you go to their website here www.nioxin.com under the "assess my needs" tab and figure out the best system for your type of hair.  Just a little FYI! 

Thanks! I appreciate the advice.  I did go to the website and saw that.   Looks like I'm a "4", as well.   Dang grey hair that needs to be colored. LOL!  I also found out that there are quite a few salons near me that sell it, so I should be able to find it with no problem.

I lost a crap load of hair too starting aroudn 4-5 months and it came out in droves! Thankfully I had insanely thick & long hair, but it still took it's toll and finally last Friday I bit the bullet and chopped about 8 inches off!

I tried Nioxin, I took my vitamins and met my protein goals and nothing mattered. It's pretty much the shock of the surgery that does it. Of course my hair has now stopped falling out and I had another major sugery 11 days ago - so I'm praying it doesn't fall out again! YIKES!

The good news is all my hair is growing back - i have a whole lot of peachfuzz coming in now.

Personally, I'm ok with it, it was a small price to pay to ge tto where I am now.
