Update on Beth

Beth (BVohl)'s surgery was today.  Her daughter is friends with mine, and she slept over last night, to ease Beth's pre-surgery load. Her daughter wasn't all that upset about things when she had my daughter's toys to play with. I think it worked out well

We went to Barix for SF ice pops, and we decided to see Beth as well.  The kids all got Blue ones, and while I was tempted, I resisted the urge to have my tongue blue as well.

She's groggy but doing well. Those first steps were not the easiest, but she' sdoing fine all things considered. She should be home on Friday. We are going to try and stop by tomorrow.

I can keep you posted on her as I get news.

Thanks for the update on Beth!  I met her yesterday morning in the waiting room at Barix (I was there for PATs).  I thought about her throughout the day, hoping she was doing well, so I'm glad to have an update.  Please give her my best and keep us posted on her progress.
