***Wednesday Roll Call***

Good Morning!  Well according to my security guard it has been pouring rain w/ lightening and thunder for quite awhile now.

Hopefully by the time all of you (and me) are on the road it will be a bit better.

If it's not raining I'll take my rollerblades out for 1/2 hour.  If it IS raining...I won't be doing that.

Just some very very minor housework type things to do when I get home and then to bed.  I'm beat after my first night back so I plan on catching up on the sleep I missed during the night.

Good news is the night is going by fairly quickly....so hopefully it will continue to do so!

Good Morning to you too Pam, my fellow night shift worker!  Today has me going home and catching a few hrs of sleep,  and then up to babysit my friend's daughter for a few hours (finally, someone to keep my son occupied, besides me.  lol.)

Was awoken by the thunder last night, but was able to go back to sleep after I shut my window in my bedroom. 

Now, I am up waiting for Siehara to get ready for school and then I'll be back to work 7-3:30.

Going to spin tonight and that's it.  Nothing else planned.

Good Morning Pam and Everyone,
I am exhausted after not being able to sleep well last night.  My allergies and nerves were raw.  Not sure what is going on.

Anywho, I got to babysit the Munchkin last night while her parents went out for a little while.  I also put a roast in the crock pot in the fridge for this morning.  I am having the gang over tonight for supper.  Mom, Sis, Sis-in-law, Nephew, and of course the guests of honor.

Interesting news this morning, they caught the guy who attacked the little eleven year old girl and raped her in Philadelphia.  An angry mob attacked him and he is in critical condition in the hospital.  I often wonder if gang justice would not be so bad.  I think I watch too much Law and Order...

Funny that you said that about gang justice.  I was watching Fox news with my husband last night - Which is a rarity - we hardly ever watch Fox - anyway - Although, thecommunity took care of the perpetrator, how ever, I think that Fox glorified that fact that the community beat him up so bad that he had to be hospitalized.  Although, I am sure the anger factor was there - and IF this is the guy - probably is - I think that glorifying violence on the news is unproductive and wrong.  I really feel that they did NOT need to show the men beating up the guy over and over and over.  Again, I am soooo happy that they caught the guy - again, I REALLY HOPE THIS IS THE GUY - but Fox news disgusted me!

 I did not see the Fox coverage of it, but NBC10 this morning.  I thought they covered it appropriately.  They showed the scene as the police arrived, and then they showed the girl's parents from behind, just thanking the community for their support.  I do hope this is the guy, just for the sake of not having an innocent person have the crap beat out of him.

I heard about channel 10's report - sounded much more appropriate that Fox.  In Fox's reoprt I do not remember seeing the police and most definitely did NOT see the child's parents.  I agree - I hope this is the right person.  IT seems to match the description given by the girl - DNA will prove it for sure!  And - I do not necessarily disagree with what the masses did I just didn't like the coverage by the news team.

Not alot planned today.  We have the Volunteer Appreciation Dinner tonight.

I may try to find a meeting today.  I seriously need more support.

i was woken up by those storms,,, i hate waking up to thunder and lightening gives me a bit of a panic.

Working a long day today...harrisburg for work then off to see clients after. wont be home until after 9pm.  Other than that I am continuining to do some soul searching. BUt i will say I am in a better space and very thankful to those of you who sent me some kind words and support

Good Morning Pam. I was woken up by the thunder around 3am - got up and closed all the windows in the house and crawled back into bed - of course Chris never heard a thing!!! Must be nice!

I didn't sleep well again last night and I am uncomfortable today. After work I am going home to make dinner and relax. I might try and pull a few weeds if it isn't raining.

Oh and I've been at work less then a 1/2 hour and have gotten 2 compliments on how nice I look today - I feel like crap and but on every stretchy thing I own! lol black yoga type pants and an empire waisted stretchy shirt.... go figure! Oh and the hair is in a pony tail! lol
