Barix First Saturday Meeting 6/6

Come out to fill up your support buckets this Saturday June 6,2009  in the lobby of Barix in Langhorne with Shauna leading the meeting with her team of leaders with her. The time is 12 noon till 4:00PM. You do not have to arrive right on time or stay the whole entire time.


This month we welcome two new leaders that have accepted our invitations to join the team of leader volunteers Lesley G and Arlene E. Welcome them to the team! 

We will also have a Lap Band group lead by the one and only Robin R....so if you are thinking about the lap band surgery , pre-op or post op come join Robin.

Also if you are thinking about surgery ,pre-op or post op gastric bypass come on join us we have a group just for you.

We will have a nutritionist there that will be selling protein and vitamins starting at 11:30 am till 12 then again at the break at 2:00pm till 2:30 pm.

Please note there will be NO FIRST SATURDAY MEETING THE MONTH OF JULY! We will resume first Saturday meetings the month of August.

are the lap band and bypass groups separate for the entire time of 12-4 or a section of the time?

No, the format we have been using for the meeting has been the first half 12-2 we are in separate groups then after the break from 2-2:30m we meet as one group from 2:30 till 4...

Thanks for the reminder, I plan on coming, I miss seeing everyone, it's just hard to get up after working all night.

Is this open to people who had their surgery at Barix? I'd like to come since I'll be around that weekend for my graduation party.

We'd love to have you join us. It's open to Barix patients and is led by many who are Barix patients but we are also open to WLS patients from other programs and their support friends and family.
