Reading Hospital

Hi everyone.  My name is Ron and I live outside of Reading, PA.  After a couple of years of considering the surgery I finally decided to go for the RNY proceedure.  I have been doing all of the pre op testing and counselling since January and this comming Tuesday I meet with Dr Ku to set a date for surgery and go over everything with him,'

I have learned a lot from this board and am grateful to everyone who posts.  Doe anyone have any expierience with the program at Reading or with Dr Ku?  He used to be at Hershey but came to Reading to head the department there.

Any infor would be appreciated.  I look forward to posting my progress and reading your posts.

Dr. Ku did my surgery at Reading on 6/25/07 - and it was the best decision I ever made.  Reading Hospital was wonderful and Dr. Ku is a fantastic doctor.  You are in very good hands.  If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me.  You will do fine if you follow the program and his instructions.  Good luck,

I use to work on the GB floor...Just make sure Dr ku does it and not dr beetle or a dr benonie, if they are stil there...People had nothing but problems when they did the surgery...I had mine at Hershey were dr Ku use to be...Good luck
