Good Morning Everyone,
I am up, but not early enough to have made my meeting.  Trying to get my apartment ready for the weekend and get the food ready as well.

I am also heading out to the Lancaster area to attend a graduation luncheon for a friend who finished her teaching degree at Holy Family this month.  Then it is home to finish getting ready for the picnic tomorrow, and watch the Phillies with my son tonight.

Looks like a glorious day weather wise.

Have a great day.

Huggles,
Trish

Good morning, all!

I woke up early with one of my cats (the one in my avatar) sitting on me.  I couldn't be mad at him though---he's afraid of everything but wasn't afraid of the cpap today.  I'm thinking I should go for a walk this morning, then come home and do some cleaning ****ep putting that off).  Got laundry to do today too.  I think I might go to Lancaster to see my mom today too if she's up to company.

Have a great day, everyone!!!

I loved when my cats woke me up...one used to sit on my pillow right above my head and chew my hair.  I miss them terribly, but my allergies don't.  Enjoy.

Had an upset stomach all night.  Got maybe three hours of restless sleep.  Still not feeling very good.  Suppost to go to the Music and Arts Festival.  Maybe for a couple of hours.

Clueless about weight loss and weight loss surgery of any kind.

My tummy and digestive system was funky all evening yesterday too....I am better today...got my fiber and am sucking down my water this morning.  Hope you feel better.

Hugs,
Trish

Hi. All. Up early not sure why I was up until 2 am after our little Happy Hour for Jason.
We have a interesting Dr. Seuse themed memorial party to go to this afternoon. Maybe some food shopping and I am making my SF strawberry pudding for a brunch I am going to tomorrow.

Morning, all you earlybirds!

I slept late for a change, then had to go do a bunch of errands immediately upon rising.  Sigh.  Katie and took a great walk around 11:30 - very brisk and with a major upper-body workout with hand-weights while walking.  Felt so good, especially in this gorgeous weather.

Did a few housework things, and am now settled in for a bit to make some website changes for clients.  Have to do food shopping later and take my  mom to Staples.

I'm really hoping to get some studio time in tomorrow... i have some pieces I'd like to make for an upcoming show and just can't seem to get into to the studio to DO them.  Argh.  Part of that was depression/avoidance at the first of the year, and that makes it harder to get back in there.

Ok, so it's 7:00 at night and I am just posting to roll call.  What that means is that I have had quite the busy day and it's not over yet.

This morning, I got my hair cut and colored.  I will post pics soon of the new do.

While I was there, I got a phone call from my dad at the hospital saying that they were going to let him leave the hospital for a few hours so he could attend my stepmom's surprise 70th birthday party!!! WOO HOOO!!!!! So, I picked my dad up and we went to his house so he could change clothes.  He told his wife that since I brought him home, that he invited me to go to lunch with them (dad, stepmom-Carol, and her 3 kids and their families)  We went to the restaurant and my dad said that there was a reservation for us and they took us upstairs.  Carol was only expecting to see her kids, but instead got 50 people shouting SURPISE!!!! It was awesome! She was crying! She was shocked!!!!  I only wish I could have caught her look with my camera, but since I brought my dad I ended up walking in with them and couldn't.  Hopefully, her daughter will post pics on facebook that I can snatch up.

After the great party, I had to bring my dad back to the hospital so he didn't miss his 5:00 curfew. LOL!  He was actually back before 4.  He was exhausted, but was so happy he could get there!  My sister took Siehara home to Delaware with her for the night, so I headed to the mall.  I am going out for a friend's birthday tonight and we are going to a "white party".  You have to wear white.  Well, I sure as hell won't wear ALL WHITE, but I did end up getting a pair of white capris.  I don't think I ever wore white pants, except when I had to for the band in middle school!!  The freakin' pants are a size 14 and are NOT elastic!! WTF?!!??!?!?!? WHITE and BUTTON DOWN? Who the hell is that girl in the mirror?!   I will make sure to take pics of that, too, and get them posted when I can.

So, now I need to touch up the makeup, fix the hair, put on the white pants cause I am headed to the new casino on Bethlehem and then on to the white party.

Hope everyone had a great day!!!

Tomorrow is Siehara's big 5K race!! I am meeting my sister in Plymouth Meeting around 11 tomorrow morning to pick her up and get home to relax a bit before the race.  WISH HER LUCK!

Don't worry, Lisa...it's 9pm and I'm just getting around to roll call!

I came home and passed out in bed for a good 4 1/2 hours....didn't make it to the farmers market but did enjoy my nap.

Then I talked to my brother on the phone and then got all showered and dressed and spent the afternoon w/ hubby and Shauna at the promenade shops.  We did some shopping and caught "Up" in 3D.  PS - movie was GREAT but a bit intense at times and sad.  I was surpised at how many sensitive subjects a "kid" movie tapped into.  They did it tastefully, but the kids caught on to a bunch of stuff.

Oh...and I bought TWO of the preverbial "little black dress" outfits. I've never ever EVER had a little black dress and OMG.  Of course, my "personal shopper" (Brian) didn't help matters - nor Shauna for that matter.  I was trying to decide which one I liked better and Brian goes "get both"  and Shauna says "Yea - one you can dress up and wear out on the town and one you can dress down and use it even for a cute little summer dress by the shore"  Gee, thanks...trying to SAVE $$.  But hell - bought 'em both and then a pair of shoes in another store (to go with said dresses) and Brian bought me a cute little shirt at the first store with the dresses.  Once I get a bra that will work better with the one dress, I will post pics.

Anyway....now just chilling at home w/ hubby...might make a fool out of myself on guitar hero later on with him.

Oh - and we need to figure out dinner.  But I guess at 9pm it's no longer dinner....
