***Friday Roll Call***
Good Morning!
Well to be perfectly honest I just hope I wake up today from sleeping on the right side of MY bed. Because as hubby said to me last night when I woke up from my nap "What side of who's bed did you wake up on" and he was a thousand percent right. Traffic (not much) was ******g me off...the lady in front of me at wawa was ******g me off...I have a bunch of psych patients (literally...I'm not being mean) that are ******g me off....I'm just pissy.
But at least I'm honest, no?
Anyway....todays agenda is not much! I'll do the littler boxes....pack my lunch....maybe watch some TV....shower and all that stuff...and then toddle myself off to bed.
Hell...I might even have a drink before bed today. After all...it's Friday, right? LOL

Is Easton a large city? We don't have alot of traffic here.
Today is another volunteer day. I will be copying charts most of the day which is fine. I had a bad night last night. I am struggling with some bad habits. My dear hubby isn't much help. Anyway, I am hoping to get to the Arts and Music Festival tomorrow in Shinglehouse. So, that will be exciting!

Clueless about weight loss and weight loss surgery of any kind.
There are different "townships" which all make up Easton...so I guess in that respect it is on the bigger side...but it's not a "big city" by any means.
There wasn't a whole lot of traffic by ANY sort of the imagination...just construction and what not...slow moving....and like I said...I had no REAL reason to act the way I did...it was just a mood I was in. Hopefully tonight will be better.

Guess some days are pissy ones, and just maybe you need a day off of all your usual activities to just take care of you! I know that helps me sort out what can be what I refer to as my NY personality, in other words, biatchy attitude. . .
Well it's Friday and I know I am looking forward to the weekend, my last paycheck from my old company is in my account and my new job has summer hours on Friday's, so if you get in 1/2 early, take 1/2 lunch (or none) you get to leave at 3:30 or 4:00 depending on needs and whatnot. They provide breakfast on Friday's and have a refrigerator stocked with beers and a cabinet of liquor (lol), not that I'll be inbibing that, but it's nice to see they have a relaxed attitude, because from what I am learning, it can be intense at times, I think I might find out how so next week, but in short I have enjoyed my first week being back in the working world and in case I haven't said it before, I just love the commute!
Hopefully, it stops raining, because I have plans with my DIL and grandchildren tonight to go to a local carnival they have in my town at the end of every May, so Mr. Sunshine please come around!

That's the ironic part...cause I had "off" from all my normal activities on Wednesday..and have a three day weekend coming up. And Wednesday I didn't do much at all...then ended up going to KOP and having an impromptu dinner with HG and had a GREAT time and was in such a fabulous fabulous mood....
So the moral of the story? Maybe I need not to work any more spend all my time in a mall spending money and eating out with friends.

I like the moral of your story, makes perfect sense to me. . . lol They keep liquor in the office all days, but they have a TGIF party, so I am told, on Friday's. . . but that is not my thing and I will be breezing out the door wishing them good tidings

Munchkin Alert!!!!! The kidlet is arriving in town tomorrow, and I am having a picnic for her on Sunday at Tyler State Park. We are celebrating her birthday, and so far the weather looks promising.
Today has me starting the day in normal shoes. The doc said I could alternate as needed. I did find my orthotics, so I am wearing them as well. After work, it is cleaning time, and Mom will be in town, so I will probably be shanghaied into a Scrabble game as well.

Hope you get up on the right side of your bed today Pam.. some days just SUCK!
Today has me working 7-3:30 as usual. In between working, I am going to help Siehara get her clothes put away and the dirty ones washed. I made the mistake of telling her that I don't care what her room looks like as long as her dirty/clean clothes are separated. Well, that means that the dirty ones are on the floor and the clean ones are all still piled in the 2 laundry baskets that were in her room. And they were all shoved in the closet yesterday when her friend came over. UGH. I went in the closet this morning to see what I was in for and pulled everything off the floor. Well, of course there were clean and some BRAND NEW clothes mixed in with the dirty stuff so now I have more laundry to do. There will be new standards for the clothes. They will need to be put away from now on and the dirty clothes need to be put in a basket.
If Siehara gets through the cleaning with minimal whining, then she is going over to one of her friend's houses around 10 and I will pick her up after I am done working. Then, she has dance tonight and I will be looking for a bathing suit while she is there. After dance, we will head to our friends' house where we spend most Friday evenings. The difference tonight will be that there will be a TON of people there so it oughta be interesting and fun!!!
One last thing, my dad's white blood cell counts have been elevated and they are not wanting to send him home. He just wants to go home for the weekend so he can attend the surprise party for my step mom that we are having tomorrow. If his counts went down since yesterday and they feel he is stable enough, they will let him go home for the weekend and then he'll go back in next week as an outpatient to finish the draining of the bile duct procedure that has been going on for the past week. LET'S GET HIM HOME TODAY!!!
