I say be safe.... you can wear the C-Pap while watching TV. So my recommendation..... curl up on the couch, get some DVDs (or order On Demand from Comcast, perferrably), and log as much time on the machine as you can. The machine doesn't know if your asleep or awake but it will know if you just tuen it on and leave it running....

My surgury was postponed because I didn't have enough time. I do not remember the 'stats' but I was below what was required.
