Thursday Excersise
Okay I did not see Heather's post about today excercising. So I will post it. I worked out on my Elliptical for about an hour. Did I tell you that I was soaked thru my T-Shirt?? When I tell you that you could wring that shirt and it would be dripping water?? I also did some light weights but just wondering why do I look like a big red beet when I am done working out. LOL my husband just made that comment when he saw me after the work out. Here is the funny thing he told me that I looked kind of hot that way all sweaty...EEEWWW. I know TMI..LMAO:)
All that sweat and redness means you're healthy and had a great work-out, so you go, girl!! I can't imagine a minute on an eliptical, much less an hour!! I could do an hour on my bike but that's a whole different ballgame.
I am taking the day OFF from exercise. I've been going to Curves 3 times a week then supplementing with my bike and walking - well I went to Curves Tuesday night and last night and today my back is killing me, so I think 2 days in a row is too much - at least right now. And trust me, when I come out of Curves I look like you - a sweaty, red mess! But it feels great, doesn't it?!
So tonights exercise will be flapping my jaws with my girlfriend/hairdresser while I'm at her shop for my 2 1/2 hour dye and cut - I have to change chairs about 5 times during this process - that will be my work-out!

Today must be the day to sweat. I changed things up today and rode on the stationary bike at the gym which I usually hate however, I had a great workout. I had to set it at level 10 to keep my heart rate in the zone I have set for myself. WOW, I'm an avid cyclist but this was very TOUGH. I rode for 30 min. and kept the RPM's between 82 and 92. I know probably TMI....anyway, great workout and it looked like someone threw a bucket of water on me. I was soaked.

Just figured out why my back is aching today - we exercise to music at Curves and last night The Twist (if you're old enough to remember that one) was playing and it played several times, so when I was on the spring boards between equipment I did a modified 'twist' with my jogging in place. Well, coming down the hall just now that song popped into my head and I started to twist in the hall while I was walking and that was it! AH-HA MOMENT!! It wasn't the work-out - it was the stupid TWIST!
Boy just that one little change and I'm paying for it...but now I know better!
