Those of you who had Dr Pupkova..

I was wondering if Dr Pupkova puts a drainage tube in after surgery? I have been reading on how some patients are asking about the drainage tube and how bad it hurt when they took it out..and well some of them say they did not have one...so my question is does Dr Pupkova do that?

Hi Denise,
Dr Pupkova does not place drainage tube after surgery and does not use catheter either if you are going for a laproscopic RNY. I hope that helps. Oh BTW good luck with your PATS tomorrow you will do great but do make a list of questions you want answered at your PATS tomorrow and they will be able to help you more. Take Care:)
