***Memorial Day Roll Call***

Good Morning Everyone,
I can't sleep tonight.  I am too keyed up trying to take care of details for my granddaughter's picnic next weekend.  I also think the cups of coffee I had at my meeting might be contributing to my insomnia.

Anyway, Memorial Day has me transplanting some begonias into pots to take to the cemetary for my brothers' graves.  I finally visited them after over a year.  I just was not ready till this weekend.  My sister had told me that my younger brother's stone was finally in place.  It took mountains of redtape to get the marker from the VA to the stone place, and they took forever getting it done and to the cemetary.

I also have a ton of cleaning to complete.  I also hope to scoot over to the pool for some fresh air and to see how cold the water is this weekend.

Anywho, I hope everyone stays safe.  If you have to drink, get a designated driver.  Picnics can be fun.

Hugs,
Trish

I'm going to tackle cleaning out my office today.  It promises to be an all-morning affair.  After that I have to put my final grades in and then I am off for the rest of the day.
Enjoy your day everyone.

Are you also a teacher?  I just got almost all of my grades in last night.  I have two students I must consult my colleagues on when I get to work tomorrow.  I teach in Philly.

Yes, I am a teacher.  I also teach in Philly at a middle school.  Do you commute from Langhorne?  How long does it take you?

morning all...*yawn*

I start my liquid diet today and hopefully it won't be for nothing. I know I'll have surgery eventually, but am very worried it's going to be postponed due to test results. we'll see. wish me luck!

speaking of surgery getting postponed...my fiance came home last night with a temp over 100 degrees and feeling lousy. he is so worried he's going to screw things up. I told him not to worry about it, but he felt horrible. poor guy.

now I'm off to drink some yummy protein and try to figure out my day. I think I may have to be a nurse.

With your full liquid diet, can you take Airborne?  It is a nutritional supplement that you drink that helps build the immune system.  I am a teacher, and I use it a lot, not as often as I used to, but it helps me stay on top of my game, being as I get exposed to everything.

Also, wash your hands and disinfect all of the surfaces regularly.

Hang in there.  Your time will come, and you will do great.

Hugs,
Trish

It is a tablet that you dissolve in water, like Alka-Seltzer.  Once it is dissolved, you just drink it down.  Check with the docs, but I am going to bet it is going to be okay, since it is a liquid.

Hang in there.  The best is yet to come.

Trish

Good Morning PA!!!

Ahhh today is the last day off for me from a nice loooong holiday weekend!! Why do the days off go faster than the work weeks??? Hmmmm....

Anywho--today I am going on a bike ride down the Schuykill Trail with the hubby--nothing tooo strenuous though cause he hasn't ridden in years and his younger daughter is not in very good shape (she is the special needs daughter)--she was winded just riding up the hill on our block--LOL Hopefully bike riding will get her into some sort of fitness over the summer...anyways I went off on a ramble there --sorry!!!

Then it is home to do some school and work related things that I put off all weekend!!!  Then I may just jump in our little pool later if it is not too cold in the water!! LOL

Went to Target yesterday and bought my first new swimsuit in YEARS!!!  Was in the juniors/normal sized woman section and got a tankini top and a little skirted bottom....size L!!! Woo-hooo!! The first skirt was a medium and it fit --but that bottom did not have the cute little flair that the L had so I got the large cause it looked cuter with the top--I could have gotten the M top but my smaller yet somehow still big boobs get in the way!! It gave me the very unattractive "uniboob" look Oh well......sucks to be well endowed at times!!! LOL  But the hubby and the teenager said I looked cute so I'll take it!!!

As for everyone enjoy this wonderful Memorial Day and remember our courageous men and women in the armed forces who have served or are serving--they are the heros of our beautiful country!!!!

Hope everyone has a fabulous day!!!

Much luv!!!
Laura
