Before Lap RNY, I would not realize I'm hungry until I was absolutely FAMISHED and STARVING!
I think most of the time I eat was due to just wanting to eat- head hunger.

I am 2 weeks out and about an hour ago, I was resting in bed and felt (what I thought) was hungry!   I realized it and was thinking- oh no- no hunger yet.   My stomach's been a little funny since yesterday.  I have always had GI issues, so I often equated my stomach being upset with hunger.  Hopefully that is what I'm doing today and I'm not really truly hungry!!

you might be thirsty.  I found that sometimes if my stomach feels weird, if I down about 8 oz of water/crystal lite/tea, etc... that will actually fix the problem.  Are you getting all your fluids in?  Sometimes we (people who have had the surgery and those who have not) confuse thirst for hunger.
