Blowing my own horn!! Toot Toot

It has been a rough ride the past few years for me, but I am like a Weeble...I wobble but don't fall down.

I look forward to the summer break, and working my other job.  I desperately need the money, and I love working there.  School is winding down here, and what is crazy is that grades go in this week, but school is not out till the 23rd of June.  We have one month of craziness with the kids left.  Thank God my school has the best kids in Philly, hands down.

I hope to be at the meeting on the 17th.  I probably won't be there on the first Saturday, as I may be traveling to Lancaster to play with the Munchkin.  My daughter and her hubby have a wedding to attend there, and I am supposed to babysit Isabel while they attend.  I am going to have a blast site-seeing with her, and hopefully they get a hotel with a pool, so she and I can go swimming.

Hugs,
Trish

Toot away!  We gave you a rousing round of applause at the post op meeting last Wednesday, hoped you could hear it up in New York.  Now that your 2 years out, I'd like to be the first to welcome you to the old timers bench.  Now your a seasoned veteran who can easily answer just about question about the journey.  Ahh but it is so rewarding to have traveled the road and show others the way.  Best Wishes.

Some days your the dog and some days your the hydrant.

Of course your time is passing quickly as well.  I know you were one of the lucky ones that hit goal and all sooner rather than later but are doing a great job staying put!  Yippee!!

Congrats on your 2 year surgiversary!!!  I just love what you wrote here.  I am starting to realize for myself how true these things are, and # 6 resonated with me.  Well, actually they all resonated with me, but especially # 6.  I am glad to have met you along this journey and I wish you many more years of continued successing!

Awe, thanks Lesley!

The way you are progressing, I hope you don't feel anything but proud of all the hard work you have put in.  Yeah health is really what it is all about isn't it?  I mean who of us would really choose to be obese?  Common on, it's not like we woke one day and said let's eat to get (the f word) . . . did we?

I am glad we met as well.  I really don't think any of us would be as successful if it weren't for the support we give and get!

Thanks Rhonda!

So glad you joined the group and are coming to the supprt meetings.  Seriously, I truly believe it is the support of like minded people who have done this that make the difference in successing (a word we use at grou) and becoming one of the statistic that WLS fails for.   I know you will do great, you already have a wonderful start!!

All of us, no matter how far out or even just looking into the possibility need to remember WLS doesn't fail, the tool is there for us but we have to USE the tool, not toss it aside.

I got my tool and I'm hanging on to it!!!

Wow Jan, 2 years out.  Hard to believe; where did the time go?  You are making me feel very old  !!!    Congratulations on your milestone.  You have been both a great follower and a great leader on this board and more importantly a caring participant that always shares her knowledge and contributes to the greater good of all.   Thanks!
