*** Saturday Roll Call***
Good Morning Beautiful People,
I am up early with tons to do. My foot survived my driving yesterday, so I can be more mobile.
Today has me tidying, getting some work done on my car, and getting to my therapist's for a session I sorely need. Been trying to get back on track with my food, and other things.
I have no special plans for the weekend, other than trying to get my apartment in order, as the past two months have been devastating on it, since I have been immobile most of the time.
I do hope to enjoy some of the nice weather. Might check out the pool at my complex.

Good Morning Trish, PA!
I've been up for over an hour, drank half the water I need for the day already, as I don't allow myself any coffee before I've consumed at least 1/3 of the water I need for the day. It's something I started doing because being home, I found I was drinking more coffee (the caffienated kind), but as a result of drinking the water first, I reduced my coffee intake to two cups a day, now mind you those are probably 12 oz cups, but by drinking the water first it gets me on the right track and I actually find I drink more water that way. Anyway, I go back to the working world this week and will be back to my one regular cup in the morning and decaf the rest of the day. So now all this coffee talk has made me ready for my first cup (lol)!
My weekend is going to be a nice, go with the flow kind of one and other than tomorrow, I have no set plans, I will probably putter around my house and find some projects that need doing, ever since I put down the paintbrush, I have not had much desire to go back to the projects and other than some organizing and house cleaning, this beautiful weather has totally sidetracked me from wanting to work on house stuff.
Well, I'm babbling here, so I hope you all enjoy the nice weather, I sure am! Be safe and have a great time!

Morning.. is it?
I got in around 2 AM from a relatively fun night at karaoke. I was going to check out the casinos, but there was no way in hell I was fighting the traffic to get there and not be able to play because it was too packed to get to a machine.
The only definite plans I have for today are synagogue and then to the hospital to visit my dad. After that, I would LIKE to be able to come home and take a nap, but I'm sure that won't happen. It will be too nice outside to stay in bed. My friend from MD MIGHT come up today, but I'm not holding my breath. He was supposed to come up last night but money was tight, so he said that he might be able to swing it today if they fixed his paycheck. Again, not holding my breath.
Nothing else exciting for me. Hope to keep the excitement to a minimum and just relax this weekend.

I am getting stuff packed up and will be going to mom's today. Having a bar b que there and then going to work at my "other" job both Saturday and Sunday night. I'll be staying at Mom's to sleep on Sunday which equates to a "Pam doesn't do crap" type of day which is awesome :)
Brian will be coming with me to the bar b que and then I'll take a nap before work and he'll go to a friends house in the area and then come home to feed the beasts!
Other than that, nothing else going on!

Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses. 
If I understand correctly, he has a cyst blocking his bile duct. This caused jaundice. He has had stomach issues for the last few weeks and went to the dr and he immediately noticed that he had jaundice. His nurse wife didn't notice the jaundice because he has a yellowish tint to his skin normally. But when the doctor suspected it and looked into his eyes, she did too, and then saw it. SOOO, they sent him for an endoscopy to see if they could get in there to drain the cyst, but couldn't get past the blockage. He went to the hospital Thursday where they were going to go in through his side to drain it, but found that his kidneys weren't functioning properly because he has not been absorbing anything he has been injesting over the past few weeks. Now, they are basically just keeping him there giving him IV fluids and I guess Tuesday, they will try to go back in his side to drain the bile. Then in the beginning of June when his surgeon gets back from Italy, they will operate and remove the cyst.
OY VEY!! Too much family stuff all at once. My dad's a trooper, though, and I know he'll pull through this fine!

Good morning Ladies!
My day will be spent waiting!
I received my CPap machine Thursday and someone came to show me how it works yesterday. When he arrived, we discovered that I'm missing the straps necessary to hold it on my face. So he called the company and they are Fed Ex-ing it to me. I'll be hanging around waiting on FedEx, then I have to call him to come over again to show me the works. Great!
I was supposed to meet Denise (OH-er from Pgh) and now I had to cancel :-( Hopefully we'll be able to hook up at another time. She (and most of you) know that this %#&*% machine has to take precedence right now.
So, looks like I'll be taming the laundry monster and doing housework today. I'll just get everything done today so the rest of the weekend will be free! When hubby gets home, we'll going to eat out for dinner.
That's my day! I hit the gym yesterday, so if I don't get there today ...it'll wait for tomorrow!

I have been suffering with a sore throat and sour stomach for a few days now. So, I am not going to leap any tall mountains today. Not that I would anyway teehee.
So, not much planned for the whole weekend. I don't remember if anyone up here does anything on Memorial Day. I know it is my wls anniversary though. Completing nine years postop! yippeeeeee!
