Yup, reality sets in about this time and it can be a bit of a roller coaster ride leading up to the big day, but you will look back a year from now and be amazed at all that you have accomplished as a result of this journey and the many people you will make friends with are another great part of this journey!

Yes it has been a roller coaster ride. I have already connected with so many people through support group. I even met up with a girl i went to HS with who had the procedure recently.
