Question about the daily plate

Okay so after last night's support meeting I decided to track all my calories & exercise on line and just to maintain my weight it says I would have to eat approximately 2,489!! Holy Cow I have eaten 1,821 calories believe it or not since I am done with my protein servings for the day. The daily plate still wants me to eat 1,122 calories! Is this information even correct?? There is no way I can eat that many more calories. I am not hungry at all and was planning on eating a banana before going to bed. Has anybody else experienced this and if so is the daily plate WRONG?? BTW I do cardio for one hour every single day. Maybe that is why it gives me so many calories to eat?? Any thoughts?

People comment on my over 100 pound weight loss and attribute it to my WILLpower, but it is my WANTpower: I WANT to be thin and healthy more than anything else!

I would talk to the nutritionist at Barix but I think that is way off base! Maybe a "normal" person would need that but we are special!!!

my daily plate calories seem right on to me.  Without exercise, its about 1100.  I'm almost 9 months out and not quite at goal and that is around where my nut/dr said to be.  Without exercise I am rather sedate --- work at desk all day, just normal daily activity.  I don't pay attention to the extra calories it says I can eat when I add my 30 min treadmill and 20 minute weights --- it does get goofy then, for us at least.

104 lbs lost now Maintenance BABY!!!!

Those numbers are not for WLS patients.  You can not eat those many calories unless you are an athlete.  Speak to the nutritionist.

Some days your the dog and some days your the hydrant.

Well, actually, you CAN eat that many calories in a day if you are constantly eating small bits.   I have (and even beyond that #).....I've also gained back 30lbs.    I don't think you REALLY want to do that.   Call the nut.   She'll have you add more cals. in in small increments for a week at a time until you find your maintenance level.   You want to add slowly and get used to each level or you'll stimulate your appetite to where it takes off and loses control.
