Barix Post-Op Meeting-So good to meet you all

I felt like the Prodigal Child tonight, returning to the Barix meeting after my hiatus into bad habits and stinking thinking.  I am so thrilled I went, because I got to meet, face to face, dear friends with whom I have spoken in the past years.  Plus, it was great to see Dennis and Nan, and a few others who were there when I first started this journey.

I am especially grateful to Keri for the ride, and her friendship, as I could not have gotten there without her.

I love you all, and am so thrilled to be back, and pray that I am able to get back into the groove again.

Progress, not perfection, is my goal.

Hugs,
Trish

So glad you came.

I'm not sure if there were a lot of new faces as much as people we met before but don't recognize.

Some days your the dog and some days your the hydrant.

Trish,

I was thrilled to finally meet you and am so happy you are coming.  As I've said before, ongoing support is where it is at, especially as we get further out post-op.  Looking forward to seeing more of you!

Hugs, Laureen

Trish,
I was so happy to meet you face to face finally. So sorry you are going thru a rough time right now. Hang in there and hopefully you'll get all your answers soon. Take Care:)

People comment on my over 100 pound weight loss and attribute it to my WILLpower, but it is my WANTpower: I WANT to be thin and healthy more than anything else!

Trish you're two for two and that's progress. Keri (and she looks just marvelous) offering you the ride is just what this group is about. You posting a need b/c you couldn't drive with your injured foot is what this group is about. Coming, sharing, staying after a long meeting is what this wonderful group is about. What we found here is working and I could not be more pleased.
Thank You,

Dennis
