monday roll call

I do not see a roll call so  I will start one. Today is my first day on the new job at work and 1st day back on day shift. Good lord I am not awake. So I guess I will be training today. i hate learning new jobs, having to sit with someone all day and be at their mercy. I am way too independent for that mess.

Morning Nicole! There's something you don't hear often, huh?! LOL! 

Monday morning.. after a crazy busy, exhausting, stressful weekend.  TG I don't have to work today.  Today has me going to the gym, then home to shower so I can take Siehara to an outpatient intake at Kidspeace.  They have an inclusive program there that involves psychology, psychiatry, med management, family counseling (I hope) and behavior management.  I was able to get her into this program after taking her to the emergency behavioral health area of Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg after she had an explosive episode a few weeks ago.  I am hoping that they will be able to get her on some meds for her depression and finally straighten out her moods.  

There is a separate post coming about this, hoping one of you can offer additional advice.

After her appointment, I will take her back to school and then head over to the Jewish Community Center for day 2 of the nearly new sale.  Everything is 1/2 price--from the already really cheap prices--  I bought a few things yesterday, but want to go back and try again today when I have more patience and am alone!

After that I am coming home to relax and enjoy some alone time before I have to pick Siehara up from Girls on the Run at 5:00.

Hi all. Don't be fooled by my late posting, I usually post very early in the am. I was awake then too. Me and this cpap machine are developing quite the love hate relationship. I love that it's supposed to help me sleep and breathe better, but hate that since I've had it I've slept less than before it. ugh! last night the problem was air leaking out of the mask. I had it adjusted just right the other day where I could sleep however I wanted without any leaks, screwed it up in my sleep, and now I'm adjusting all night trying to fix it still. the pressure doesn't bother me, it's keeping it on my face. good thing I take naps or else I wouldn't meet my daily requirements.

today is going to consist of many calls. got to call some doctors, the home healthcare place I'll be buying most of my supplies from, etc. just trying to get ready for my liquid diet next week and surgery after that. 

got to help my fiance fill out some paperwork to take time off of work to be there for me after surgery. just a little vacation time. it will be nice to not be alone.

The Cpap is a pain in the butt (or face!!) but you'll get used to it. It took me about a week to really get comfortable wearing it, but even then I would wake up sometimes and it would be laying on the floor - I would have ripped it off in my sleep! But wear it as much as possible because it will make your breathing so much better for surgery and afterwards, and after only 2 months post-op I was able to stop wearing mine! So you won't need it long, but try to get as much time on it as possible right now.

I'm sticking with it, but I'm surprised it wasn't out the window last night lol. It's my own fault though, I am the one who when half asleep screwed up the head gear. I hope I can stop wearing mine after surgery sometime, or at least be able to wear it all night with no problems by then!

I am at work today until 4 then stopping at Mom's to make a drop off and a pick up then home to cra****his baby is sucking my energy something terrible! I know I need to listen to my body though so rest I shall!

WOw is that an exciting day......

Good morning - I'm back at work after a nice long weekend off - of course staying in bed this morning would have been nice too but sadly not an option.

Got a lot done this weekend but yesterday it all came to a screeching halt - woke up Friday and Saturday with some dizziness - it didn't last long, but yesterday I woke up and it was really bad and stayed with me most of the day. I saw the doctor on Friday for some other things and told him about it and he checked my BP and all and didn't seem concerned - seemed to think it was related to my TOM, which was going gangbusters that day. And every month for about the past 6 months I have had one really lousy day during my TOM that would put me in bed for the whole day - so I guess that's what happened yesterday. This morning all the dizziness is gone, thank goodness!

So not much on my agenda today - picking mom up from her MRI on the way home (a neighbor is being kind enough to take her) and then I'll go to Curves - they're not open Saturday due to the holiday weekend so if I can get there Mon, Wed and Fri this week it'll be a good thing.

Well good morning!  I will be probably calling a few doctors office's today.  I have been a bad bad bad girl and didn't get new docs when we moved...and I really need a GP and also a GYN (would be good to have with trying for one, don't you think???) so I finally got some good reccommendations from girls at work and will be calling today.

Also...the jeep saga continues.  Last week Brian got a "chip" in the windshield which was bothering him....it wasn't to big, but we paid safe lite auto glass to come out and repair it.  They were professional...on time...courteous...and it looked good.  They told him he could drive it right after they were done.  As "luck" would have it...he didn't have to go anywhere....so it sat in the driveway...and we woke up the next morning to find it completely broken with three "legs" coming off of the spot they had just "repaired"  We called mad as a hornet...as now the whole damn windshield needs to be replaced.  Anyway....we got our money "back" meaning it is going towards them now replacing the whole windshield.  I toyed with the idea of going somewhere else...but I want to see what comes of their "warranty"

So...I'm sitting here waiting for them....

I also need to run to the post office and mail a few things.

Then hopefully it will be bed sometime before noon and back to work for me tonight.....and OFF tuesday and wednesday!  Whoo hoo!!

Hi everyone - long day today for me.  Work here all day and work tonight.  I don't usually work Monday nights, but since I'll be on vacation from the Doc's after tonight until next Tuesday, I'm sucking it up and working.  Monday's are traditionally busy there, so I expect to be running around and answering a lot of phone calls.
