6 month miracle...way to go Dee!!

Just a shout out to my good friend Dee.  She's only 6 months out from her RNY surgery and has lost around 90lbs.  But more amazingly, she just ran in a half marathon today and finished in only about 2.5 hours, that is 13 miles!!!  This is a girl who was short of breath walking into work before her surgery!  So Proud of her :)

That's so inspirational!  I'm not quite to the "running" stage yet (almost a month out and am trying to jog 2 - 4 short segments in each of my rapid walks... trying to push a little longer each time to work up to running), so I can appreciate just how tough it is to get to that point.  So that's AWESOME progress!

Thank you my friend!!!  You are my true inspiration...you are a truly wonderful woman!!!   I can't believe what I just did today...I would have never believed it 6 months ago!  It's a little hard to walk right about now  (LOL)  but it is a good kind of pain!!    Thank you to everyone for all your support!  Anything can be done if you keep yourself focused on that goal....keep on successing everyone!!

That is so awesome Dee!! It takes me 17 minutes to do 1 mile..so multiplied by 13 and that's.. about 3 3/4 hours, but I don't even think I could go that far.. 5K is my first goal..

You look fantastic in your pics, too!  Keep up the great work
