Is Smart Chilli something you buy at the store?  How is the sugar content?

Yep - it's usually in the produce section or the organic/tofu section of the store (in a refrigerator case).   The company that makes it (and several other really good products) is called "Lightlife."  I love their chili, and also use their Smart Ground Taco/Burrito mix for meatless tacos (which my carnivorous husband had no clue were meatless for months until the kids spilled the beans) and their Smart Ground that's basically a substitute (or addition) to ground meat in whatever recipe you want.

Trust me - especially with the chili, you will NEVER know you're eating meatless.

I WISH I could find their Smart TexMex (taco stuffing already seasoned and prepped - just heat and eat).  So if any of you see it, please let me know!

A 1-cup serving has:  260 cals, .5g (that's point-5) fat, 12g Fiber, 12g Sugar (see below - not in first 5 ingredients), and 19g protein.
