If I remember correctly....one of them has to much fat for a full bar for us...but it is also really big...so half normally does me (and fits in the nutritional guidelines)

I like both of them, and have also gotten them at barix

I buy the supreme bars and they are goos just be careful there are 2 sizes the smaller bar has 200 calories & 15 gms protein the bigger one has double the calories & double the protein so you have to cut it in half..
If Barix is selling it ,you know it is good for us to use, cause if it wasn't they wouldn't sell it

I was the one that said that they CAN be junk - the goal of most of them is to make it taste like a candy bar. My surgeon (Dr Brader) told me that they are good in a pinch but not to rely on them for my protein - should try and get it from real food. That's just my surgeon though. Like everyone said just make sure you read the label and do what works for you!

I've used those protein bars and they're good, but yeah, pretty big so only do 1/2 one at a time.

I have found that the Atkins protein bars are lowest in sugar and carbs - most have between 10 and 13 grams of protein and are very good. I don't use them every day but I keep some at work in my desk in case I don't have anything else 'good' and I keep some at home to stick in my purse if I know I'm going to be out for a while and not sure what I'll be eating. And they're not huge - and while I wish they did taste like candy bars sadly they don't, but they are tasty and good in a pinch.

Oh - and just as an FYI I forget how far you are out...but Dr. P does NOT like you using protein bars, especially once you are on food.  She doesn't like protein powders for that matter once you are on food either.

Like Brader (I think Liz said it was Brader....) she is ok with one once in awhile but doesn't want people using them daily.
