Anyone from the Reading area?

I am just beginning this journey.  Hubby & I just attended a WLS last week.  We are both considering band surgery.  I am reading these boards to try and gain all the info I can to make an informed decision about the surgery.

Dawn this is a good board to utilize but if you are looking at general info on banding the Lap band board would be a better source of info.  the majority of us are RNY.

I live in lancaster home of LGHB and the best surgeon in PA as far as I am concerned. feel free to ask away

I am cosidering Dr. Ku at the Reading Hospital.  Schuylkill Haven is not too far :).

I don't live in Reading but I had my surgery in June 2007 at The Reading Hospital (Dr. James Ku).  I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Dr. Ku, the Hospital, and The Weight Manager Center (@ Reading Hosp.).

I live in Reading but chose to have my surgery at Barix in Langhorne. I had gastric bypass so if you are considering that surgery I will be more than happy to meet with you. Just let me know.

I am in the Reading area also.  I had gastric by-pass done by Dr Ku.

I dont know much on the lap band.
