Wednesday exercise
Thanks Kathy for posting the exercise thread yesterday...I didn't have time to do it. I will be taking on some extra responsibilities at work in the early mornings, so once that starts, I won't be able to post it as early as usual, if at all. But, I am sure someone will pick up the slack and get it started!!
Last night I hit the gym late and didn't get out of there unitl 11PM. I did 30 minutes on the eliptical and 20 minutes on the treadmill. Also did some arm work. I bumped up the weight on the bicep curls, and it didn't seem to bother the muscles in my chest, so I think I will keep it there...but I will make sure with the surgeon when I see him next week.
Tonight I am participating in Wedding Wednesday...so I won't be making it to the gym....
What is everyone else doing?

I did go to Curves and had a good work-out - also pleased to report that it is helping the scale get moving again and I have lost 4 lbs in 3 weeks - yeah me!
Tonight I am going to walk the dog, ride my recumbant bike, and plant some shrubs - a very ambitious plan right now - let's hope I can stick to it!

Today has me going to the gym either at lunch time or immediately after work. Gotta get cardio in.
I also want to get to Walmart, though, to buy a new scale. Mine is really bad. I've changed the batteries a few times in the month I've been in the apartment and it is still acting weird.. flashing numbers when nobody is on it..reading 5 lbs when I get on it... maybe I should wait to buy one, then I can't get on it every day.

I jumped on my Elliptical this morning and did an hour and burned almost 1,200 calories again. I am walking on my lunch and that is it for me today. I need to incorporate more resistance exercise as my arms are all flabby and I like showing off my arms in the summer time. No Plastics for me this year since I started a new job and cannot take time off work so have to tighten the loose skin by toning:)
