eating enough
i keep getting stuck on the scale.could this be from not eating enough,i'm not sure how many calories i should be consumming or if that is even a factor at this point i am almost 3months out.do the gym at 5x a week 1 hour of cardio -30-45 min of weights 4x a week
mon and wed chest,shoulders,triceps tue and thur.back,legs,and biceps.
ps thank's everybody i have only been here about a week and the info and support i great.
3 months out is a prime time for a good stall! What are you eating in day and in what amounts? That will help us decide if you aren't getting enough in - also what is your protein goal and how much fluid are you getting in??
I am sure that it is just a stall - try mixing things up at the gym and in your diet. THis will help.

in the morning before the gym i drink a protien tube in water and a cyrstal light
at least one bottle of water why working out sometimes more.a protien shake
after the gym.then around 10am greek yog.with black berries and strawberries
and a 1/4 cup of plain blue diamond almonds.the yog is fat free and it's about 1/2 to 3/4
cup.lunch around 130pm -2pm small salad with either small piece of chicken,
4pm some type of protien bar.dinner around 7 veggies,or salad ,piece of fish or chiken
or tuna with a little mayo.snack around 930-10 pm sf pudding or an ice pop
also i forgot in the morning i have a decafe coffe with cream and splenda.also ues splenda
in yog. and i am drinking more then enough fluid.thru the day.

their could be so many reasons that you are stuck. What and when you are eating not enough protein not enough water, also the scale may stall but your inches will tell you how you are doing. Don't get stuck on the number and watch how your body changes. You can try interval training when doing cardio., this will really speed your metabolism. keep up the good work it will come off!

Food sounds right on track - jus****ch those protein bars -there is a lot of junk in most of them - better off getting your protein for another source.
I think that you have just hit the 3 month stall... Try changing things up at the gym, if you use the same equipment all the time try something different or switch up the intensity, reps etc. Also try mixing up your food. Try having different things at different times of day and playing with the amounts of carbs and fats in proportion to protein - that should help!!

You might also try varying your protein. I found that when I alternated other protein drinks during my day I lost better as each one has different types of protein.
For example, the new whey protein bullets are collagen based protein and are handled different than a whey protein isolate. Both go through the system fairly quick as well.
You've got a bunch of good carbs in your day but they all add up and you may be more sensitive.
Also, are there sugar alcohols in your protein bar?
