HG must be busy since she didn't post the daily exercise thread, but since I know I'm going to Curves after work I figured I'd get it going...anyone joining me in exercising Tuesday?

Kathy,
I am! I am! I was sore from this past weekend and all the gardening that we did on mother's day. My kids and my husband bought me a Bartlett pear tree so suffice to say I was digging and dragging all the potting soil and peat moss from my barn to the back yard. Anyway I still jumped on my elliptical this morning for an hour and burned almost 1,200 calories. High intensity level I might walk on my lunch but that is it for this Chickie. Have a great day everyone:)

People comment on my over 100 pound weight loss and attribute it to my WILLpower, but it is my WANTpower: I WANT to be thin and healthy more than anything else!

1200 calories in an hour is an INTENSE workout Shilpa.

That's awesome!

I did my 45 on the treadmill and burned 900+ calories, and that's it for the day for me.

I could walk over lunch today, but I think I'm going to squirrel myself away to a picnic table outside and read my book.

My exercise has consisted of walking and playing the Wii lately. Im going to start swimming in a couple weeks. As long as my OB approves of water areobics at the local pool.

I just came back from a very long (almost an hour) walk.  There is a wooded trail down the street from my apartment complex and I wanted to see where it led.  Well, it turns out that it leads to a park.  It took me about 30 minutes to get to the park.  I was going to turn around and go back the same way I came, but I knew where I was at that point so I walked back along the street.  I think the path was safer.  There were no sidewalks on the street route.  Anyway, I walked for almost an hour and feel great!!!!

Today at 4:30 is my time with the trainer.  I assume we'll work legs.  Then, I might stay for spin.. depends on how I feel when I get done with Rocco.

I was right..legs it was.  And boy did he kick my ass! He worked my legs and abs like I was not going to be seeing him for another week.. oh wait, I'm not. LOL!!

We got a hell of a workout in, but it felt good once my jello legs found land again!

I have done nothing today for sure. But  I have to tell you we walked our butts off in NOLA. But I also have to say that we were tired and sore daily. I did not realize how out of shape I have gotten since the Plastics.  I am very happy that I will be starting a day shift job soon. Once that starts jason and I have committed to hitting the gym. Thank God. I need to start taking better care of myself.

I have just started back to going to the gym faithfully every day. I have access to the gym and trainers here at work and you get hounded if you miss a few days.. So I was there today did 45 minutes of weights and 30 minutes gravity training.... OUCH but I keep telling myself its a good pain.
