OH MY LANTA
I was just about to say the sea sickness bands. I had it sooooo bad i was diagnosed as hyper-emisis i was hospitalized so many times until they gave me a zofran pump in my leg, yes i had to stick mysefl in the thigh every day with a tiny needle. That barely worked, but never let your belly get empty, eat a few crackers before you even roll out of bed so there something in your belly. And tell that little baby to behave itself. Hahah im never getting pregnant again becaues of how sick i was, but it was all worth it!!
You can also try GINGER (ginger ale as long as it actually contains ginger - some of the organic ones do... ginger tea... ginger snaps... chewing a little piece of fresh ginger if you like the taste, etc.). it's a great anti-nausea agent (even used by the Navy for motion sickness).
The issue with saltines is not so much the salt as the carbs. When nauseous, a piece of plain bread, cracker, pretzel, matzoh, etc. seems to absorb the excess acids and digestive juices and decreases the nausea.
The key with bad morning sickness is to not let your stomach ever get empty... constantly keeping a little bit of something in it should help... a couple of grapes, a cracker, whatever...
Hope this helps!
