Monday Exercise

OSIM....oh **** it's Monday!!  I got to the gym on Saturday night, but got there late so I was only able to get in 20 minutes of cardio and some light arm work.  Tonight I will miss karate because I have to pick some patio furniture up, but of course, I won't benefit from any of the lifting, since I still can't do it.  I will get to the gym however....I need to get in some leg work and cardio....at least 60 minutes of cardio!!

45 minutes on the treadmill this korning to the tune of 3 miles and 923 calories!

I'll be weight training over lunch, which will not be fun, because I got a huge blood blister on my finger yesterday, and I popped it, so it will probably ooze all over the gym.

Just got back from my 1.5 mile loop.  I've been walking it briskly and feeling less winded, so  I've decided to put in some portions of jogging (did 3 portions today) to up the cardio a bit more. 

Today is going to be a TON of running around (have my first followup with dr. p, and about 6 errands, plus a movie date with younger daughter Becky tonight), so will likely just be a lot of errand-walking rather than planned exercise.  But I will TRY to do something else tonight, even if it's just Wii Fit for a bit.

Tomorrow, I go back to work for the first time (assuming that's ok with Dr. P).  poo.

I ran the Susan Koman 5K yesterday with my family.  That was a bunch of fun.  Today I have running club after school (Me, the gym teacher and about 70 kids running for 30 - 45 minutes.)  Then I am planning on going to the gym to work on the machines.

I already took a good walk this morning trying to work a kink out of my right leg - not sure what's going on with this leg but its aching like crazy - have a doctor's appt Friday to go over a few things and ask him what he thinks it may be.

I am planning on going to Curves tonight but have a 3:30 appt with my mom at the oncologist, so depending on the outcome of that appt is whether or not I make it to Curves or just go for another long walk or ride my bike.

Hit Curves Saturday morning for a good work-out - didn't do much yesterday - was going to ride my bike but my MP3 had a mild infarction due to the battery running down so that didn't happen.

Over the weekend I cycled 35 miles.

Today I ran on the treadmill 3.0 miles in 37:41. Felt good. My goal this week is to take the run outside.

well I was at the gym this morning by 7:30 did interval training on the tread mill and the elliptical for 20 min. then weight training for 45 min. I feel good when I go to the gym as opposed to working out at home. I make sure I get to the gym at min. 3x a week. My trainer has helped me a great deal.  life is good!
